She is a Bay Area native but lived in New York for three years after college. Kat studied Photography and Art history at Chico State. Prior to joining Firewood, she worked as a bartender for 5 years in New York and in the Bay Area. During her free time, she likes to keep busy by playing kickball and softball, reading, taking pictures, hiking with her dogs, being silly, and going to Giants games.
