A new meaning for “jam session."

This week, Google announced their newest business solution: Jamboard. tl;dr: It’s the whiteboard 2016 needs. The long version? Jamboard’s a 55-inch 4K touchscreen display that runs Android, connects to G Suite, includes a built-in camera and speakers, and can recognize up to 16 different touch inputs.

Your Windows 95 favorite got a facelift—in 3D.

Gen Y’s favorite PC pastime, Paint, just made a comeback. And we’re pretty excited. Creating, editing, and exporting in 3D is now accessible for anyone who downloads the app. Bonus points: You can take a 2D image and make parts (or all) of it 3D.

New York Times secures spot in digital-centric future.

As part of the NYT’s goal to double its digital revenue by 2020, it just acquired online product review site Wirecutter. And, notably, Wirecutter does revenue a little differently. Instead of employing ads, it relies on clickthroughs for products it reviews. Will this change the acclaimed NYT reviews? We’ll have to wait to find out.

Facebook’s functionality continues to expand.

Looking for tutorials on how to leverage social media for your brand? Look no further than social media giant Facebook. The company will now offer online journalism courses. While millennials may scoff, courses like “How Journalists Can Best Utilize Facebook and Instagram” are sure to be a hit among old schoolers looking for that social edge.

Transportation that transforms.

We’re getting one step closer to transportation that transforms how people live (hint: you could travel from SF to NYC in no time). Hyperloop One step closer, to be exact. Tesla Motors SpaceX’s Elon Musk unveiled this hyperspeed transportation concept back in 2013, and Dubai will be the first to see it through. But watch the video to see for yourself.
